
Afghanistan National Organization of the Deaf - ANOD
In order to provide special education services for children and people with hearing impairments, the Afghanistan National Organization of the Deaf (ANOD) is an OPD that has been in operation in Kabul since 2003. Since 2005, it has been in charge of deaf school initiatives. Men and women (boys and girls) with impairments form the nonprofit, nonpartisan (ANOD) organization. Through special education, the organization hopes to improve the social and economic inclusion of individuals with hearing impairments. It is registered with the Ministry of Economy under registration number 4751.
