Organization for relief development (ORD)

Organization for Relief Development (ORD) stands as a formally registered (2010), resilient Afghan non-governmental organization, unwaveringly dedicated to fostering sustainable development across northern, northeast, east, southeast and central provinces of Afghanistan since 2010. At the heart of our mission is the seamless integration of sustainability into the very fabric of Afghan lives, with a particular focus on achieving key Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The core strategy for achieving the outlook is to nurture a peaceful society where every Afghan individual or groups of individuals can seek protection and become part of the development process through expressing their opinions, identifying the problems/challenges they are confronted with, and recommend local solutions in community participatory manner. The ORD ultimately aims at turning the poorest, destitute and still passive segments into active agents and owners of their development process.
