Background: The Philanthropic Organization for Welfare, Empowerment and Research is a non-for-profit organization managed by dedicated and qualified Afghans working in health, education, welfare, agriculture and research aiming at achieving sustainable economic and social development in Afghanistan. Power Afghanistan team has years of ground experience and has been engaged in managing and implementing multi-sector projects in Afghanistan. POWER Afghanistan operates within four main areas:

·      Access to Basic and Essential Health services and strengthening the health system;

·      Economic development and social welfare empowerment;

·      Developing the education system to empower the community;

·      Research, monitoring and evaluation.

POWER Afghanistan is actively contributing towards the prosperity of the community by implementing donor-funded projects across Afghanistan. Presently working toward continuous improvement, and stretching our potential, POWER serves to satisfy national and international donor’s specific requirements and cater to address them in most effective and efficient manner. Our purpose is to improve and work, now and for future generations to come and inspire everything we do in Afghanistan through our creative approach. Our strategic choices are guided by this motive, leading us to better innovation, brilliant execution, and compels us to make a difference.
