- Design and supervise workover and well intervention operations.
- Diagnose well integrity issues and recommend repair solutions.
- Plan fishing, cementing, and recompletion operations.
- Provide technical input for stimulation treatments to enhance well productivity.
- Oversee the safe execution of well repair operations, ensuring compliance with standards.
- Work closely with drilling and petroleum engineers to improve well performance.
- Prepare workover programs, cost estimates, and post-job evaluations.
- Train Afghan engineers and technicians on workover techniques and safety practices.
Compensation and Allowances:
- The salary, allowances, and other employment benefits for this international technical position are negotiable and will be determined based on the applicant’s qualifications, experience, and prevailing international standards. Meantime, Applicants are encouraged to indicate their expected compensation package in their application documents. Required Qualifications and Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in well workover, intervention, or drilling engineering.
- Strong knowledge of well control, cementing, stimulation, and fishing techniques.
- Familiarity with industry standards for workover safety and equipment.
- Experience with oil and gas wells is highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving and training capabilities.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Dari or Pashto is an advantage.
