- To understand and try to achieve the monthly and yearly coverage and EPI indicators
- To have an update list of the EPI and MCH dropouts to follow them in outreach sessions
- To store, handle and maintain vaccines per Afghan N-EPI/UNICEF/WHO protocols
- To dispose of contaminated waste in a responsible manner to prevent exposure
- To provide fixed and outreach EPI activities
- To maintain a high level of cold chain management all the time
- To respond immediately to any cold chain irregularity using local possibility including sending Vaccines to other closest health facility with cold chain system
- To report immediately any irregularity of cold chain to supervisor.
- To provide appropriate patient education to prevent dropout and increase coverage
- To provide health education for her/his client to fix center and outreach sessions
- To identify and report problems that interfere in the delivery of services
- To provide complete accurate clear and on time monthly activity report.
Education:
- Diploma in Nursing or Midwife from a recognized Institute
Experience:
- Minimum 2-3 years’ work experience, particularly in vaccination
- Strong Command on Pashto/Dari
- Working experience in the targeted provinces and familiar with concerned community, geography and culture.
