Team Leader – Market Operations

duties

1. Team Supervision & Daily Planning:

  • Directly manage interns and employees assigned under supervision.
  • Prepare and assign daily, weekly, and monthly work plans aligned with branch targets.
  • Ensure clear task allocation, attendance tracking, discipline, and productivity of team members.
  • Provide on-the-job coaching, guidance, and performance feedback to team members.

2. Market Visits & Business Growth:

  • Ensure consistent and effective market visits are conducted as per the approved plans.
  • Lead field activities to recruit new agents and customers in accordance with set onboarding policies and criteria.
  • Support recruited agents and customers to ensure smooth activation, engagement, and retention.
  • Identify growth opportunities and contribute to trade and transaction volume development.

3. Target & KPI Achievement:

  • Drive achievement of daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs and targets assigned to the team.
  • Monitor individual and team performance against targets and take corrective actions where required.
  • Report progress, challenges, and market feedback to the Branch Manager.

4. Market Coverage & Relationship Management:

  • Expand market coverage within assigned territories to increase brand visibility and penetration.
  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with agents, customers, traders, and merchants.
  • Handle customer and trader interactions professionally, ensuring positive brand perception.

5. Customer Support & Corporate Service Standards:

  • Provide high-quality corporate customer service during onboarding and post-onboarding stages.
  • Support agents and customers in resolving operational or service-related issues within defined timelines.
  • Escalate complex issues to the Branch Manager as per escalation protocols.

6. Compliance, KYC & Documentation Management:

  • Ensure all KYC, SAF, agreements, and supporting documents are accurately collected, verified, and maintained.
  • Ensure zero discrepancies in documentation and full compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain proper filing (physical and digital) of all market-related documents.

7. Data Management & Reporting:

  • Ensure all market and onboarding data is accurately entered, updated, and maintained in the company database.
  • Maintain data integrity, completeness, and confidentiality at all times.
  • Submit daily, weekly, and monthly field and performance reports to the Branch Manager.

8. Brand Representation & Professional Conduct:

  • Represent Behtar Group in the market with high corporate, ethical, and professional standards.
  • Ensure team members adhere to company values, branding guidelines, and code of conduct.
  • Act as a role model for professionalism, accountability, and compliance within the team.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Achievement of assigned daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
  • Number and quality of agents and customers onboarded.
  • Market coverage expansion and visit effectiveness.
  • Accuracy and completeness of KYC and onboarding documentation.
  • Data accuracy and timely system updates.
  • Customer and agent satisfaction levels.

qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in field operations, sales, or market execution.
  • Prior experience leading interns or junior staff is highly desirable.
  • Experience in financial services, telecom, fintech, or distribution-based operations is an advantage.
