- Develop regular plans to achieve targets through the team.
- Survey clients for new financing with FOs, verifying clients', guarantors', businesses', and residences' information.
- Monitor applications and review all financing forms to ensure compliance with policy procedures, containing all necessary signatures/valid information, and properly filled out, particularly sharia compliance.
- Conduct regular meetings with the team of FOs, review progress reports, and ensure all team members are reaching their targets.
- Visit delinquent clients, report the cause of arrears, explain actions being taken, and specify expected timelines for late payments recovery.
- Oversight the portfolio of clients and ensure all clients have an FO assigned to them at all times. If a FO is absent, ensure another FO is assigned to all his/her clients.
- Report any suspicious activity, problems, fraud related to the officer or client to Branch Management and related departments.
- The TL must have training capacity and skills to train the team effectively.
- Assist branch management in performance evaluations of FOs.
- Perform any tasks assigned by the Branch Manager and comply with all policies and procedures of Mutahid with emphasis on sharia compliance.
- Experience performing Management function or the ability to supervise.
- Experience building and managing a healthy portfolio
- University education in finance, retail banking, credit, or another quantitative field an advantage
- Experience in credit and risk a must
- Initiative, integrity, self-management, and ability to work independently
- Experience working in the field, bazaars, or markets a must
- Knowledge in social science or having some experience in social work
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Dari and Pashto fluency required; some knowledge of English is an advantage.
- Computer (word processing, data entry and familiarity with Core banking system) skills an advantage
- Outstanding interpersonal and communications skills
