Key Responsibilities
- Configure, install, and maintain Oracle servers and Oracle databases
- Manage, configure, and monitor Sophos Firewalls
- Perform regular backups of:
- Servers
- Oracle databases
- Firewalls
- Ensure backup integrity, restoration testing, and disaster recovery readiness
- Plan, set up, and manage data center infrastructure
- Monitor system performance, security, and availability
- Troubleshoot system, network, and database-related issues
- Maintain system documentation and operational procedures
- Ensure compliance with security and operational best practices
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a System Administrator
- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Servers and Oracle Databases
- Experience configuring and managing Sophos Firewalls
- Solid knowledge of backup and recovery strategies
- Experience with data center setup and operations
- Understanding of network security, system monitoring, and disaster recovery
- Strong problem-solving and documentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications related to Oracle, Linux/Windows Server
- Experience in financial services or EMI environments
- Knowledge of compliance and security standards
