duties

·       Working at the Aqtipa Comprehensive Health Center (CHC+) during official hours and adhering to night duties according to the schedule prepared at the hospital.

·       Registering and recording the history and treatment of general surgery patients based on existing guidelines and forms in a valid and realistic manner.

·       Responsible for completing the necessary pre-operative examinations.

·       Responsible for obtaining consent from the patient or the patient's relatives before performing the operation.

·       Strictly observing hygienic and preventive health conditions in daily practice.

·       Monitoring patients after surgery.

·       In case of existence of protocols and norms, responsible for their implementation, and if these protocols and norms do not exist, responsible for the development of such protocols in the hospital.

·       Actively participating in the design and implementation of on-the-job training programs in the hospital.

·        If required by supervisors, participating in monitoring activities of clinics.

qualification

·       Afghan citizenship.

·       Graduate of a recognized medical faculty with a certificate of specialization in general surgery.

·       Experience of performing general surgical procedures independently.

·       Minimum of five years of work experience in general surgery.

·       Kind and affable personality with fluency in Dari and Pashto.

·       Priority will be given to qualified candidates who are residents of the local area.
