Sales strategy and execution:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to achieve company targets and organizational goals.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies.
- Negotiate and close profitable contracts and secure profitable orders.
- Prepare and negotiate quotations, tenders, and contracts.
- Manage the entire sales pipeline, from lead generation to closing deals.
- Coordinate with the production and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
Market and business development:
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities.
- Design and execute marketing campaigns to promote steel products and services.
- Develop promotional materials, product brochures, and digital content in coordination with the marketing team.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Strengthen the company’s brand positioning, promotional campaigns, digital outreach. and visibility in target markets.
- Act as the primary contact for key accounts and provide technical expertise when needed.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build long-term relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
- Address customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and professionally.
- Provide technical support or product knowledge to clients when needed.
Performance and reporting:
- Track and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Provide regular reports to management on sales performance, market feedback, and competitive scenarios.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and adjust strategies as required.
- Develop sales forecasts and manage sales budgets.
- Present business growth plans and reports to Top management.
Team leadership:
- Lead, manage, and develop the sales and marketing team.
- Set performance goals and evaluate team achievements.
- Organize team meetings to discuss targets, forecasts, and market conditions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or Metallurgy (MBA preferred).
- 2–3 years of experience in sales and marketing within the steel or manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of steel products (such as HR coils, CR sheets, structural steel, etc.) and their applications.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to achieve sales targets and manage key accounts.
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office tools.
- Ability to work independently and travel frequently as needed.
