Surveying & Measurements:
- Conduct route surveys for OHTL, pole lines, and underground cable routes.
- Perform leveling, alignment checks, and setting out locations for towers, poles, and substation foundations.
- Collect precise measurements using total stations, GPS, auto levels, and other survey tools.
- Prepare topographical and contour maps for planning and execution.
Site Layout & Setting Out:
- Mark locations for equipment foundations, gantry structures, cable trenches, and control building layouts in substations.
- Set out coordinates and benchmarks for distribution network installation.
- Verify structural positions, angles, distances, and elevations during construction.
Documentation & Reporting:
- Prepare survey reports, field notes, alignment sheets, and maps.
- Maintain updated records of site benchmarks, control points, and as-built data.
- Coordinate with Site Manager and Project Manager regarding survey findings and required adjustments.
Quality Control & Coordination:
- Ensure that construction work follows the correct alignment and levels as per drawings.
- Identify discrepancies between site conditions and engineering designs and report them promptly.
- Support engineers by validating measurements for foundation works, cable lengths, and material estimation.
- As-Built Surveying
- Conduct final as-built surveys for submission to consultants and authorities.
- Ensure documentation aligns with actual completed work.
