- Supervise installation works for 500 kV substation equipment, including circuit breakers, isolators, CT/PT, CVT, surge arresters, shunt reactors, and control systems.
- Ensure all electrical installation activities follow approved drawings, SLDs, technical specifications, and IEC/IEEE standards.
- Review and verify shop drawings, equipment layouts, cable routing, termination, and grounding systems.
- Oversee testing and commissioning activities: insulation tests, relay testing, functional checks, interlock verification, SCADA integration, FAT/SAT procedures, and energization support.
- Coordinate daily with EPC contractors, OEM suppliers, consultants, and DABS PMO.
- Participate in site coordination meetings and provide updates on progress, challenges, and technical issues.
- Prepare daily/weekly progress reports, MIRs, NCRs, checklists, and documentation related to site works.
- Inspect delivered materials and equipment to ensure compliance with specifications and BOQ.
- Maintain site safety compliance, enforce electrical safety procedures, LOTO, and permit-to-work systems.
- Support the PMO in technical submittals, site clarifications, as-built documentation, and commissioning records.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Power Engineering.
- 5–10 years of experience in EHV/HV substation projects (preferably 220–500 kV).
- Strong background in installation, testing, and commissioning of high-voltage substation equipment.
- Familiarity with PoP/EPC contract environments and DABS/utility standards is an advantage.
- Proficiency in using testing tools (OMICRON, Megger, CPC, TTR, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of IEC/IEEE standards, protection systems, and HV/EHV construction practices.
