duties

·       Network Optimization activities performed on the RAN covering multi-vendor/multi-technology 2G, 3G & LTE sites.

·       Identification, maintenance of KPIs relating to coverage, accessibility, mobility, integrity, and service retainability for optimization for all Radio bearers/ services including Voice and Data.

·       Optimization of the active Radio Access Network ensuring all contractual KPIs and intersystem KPI’s.

·       Subscribers experience management which includes both proactive and reactive quality improvement initiatives.

·       Strategic network activities including Network Performance, Capacity requirement forecasting and operational capacity planning.

·       Detailed knowledge of all OEM parameter and feature sets as well as recommended settings, OEM KPI’s and counters, counters specific to measure subscriber experience, Optimized Optimization procedures/ guidelines.

·       Periodic network motorway drive test campaigns in major metros, Ad-hoc drive testing for quality benchmarking and RAN Optimization activities including Single Site Verification Test report for newly integrated sites of technologies.

·       Daily, Weekly, Monthly Bi-Annually activities include but not limited to BSIC, PCI, scrambling code planning, Subscriber’s complaint handling, Special Events, Seasonal Planning, Traffic Balancing, inter-Vendor border Management, Neighbor, and coverage Optimization.

·       Maintaining a parameter database which details all the RAN parameters under control of the Optimization Dept.

·       Performed Optimization services on 3GPP and non-3GPP Access technologies.

·       Must have Hands-on Routine network activities.

1.     Radio Network Topology Audit, Radio Network Parameter consistency checks

2.     Radio Network Benchmarking, Frequency and Neighbor Planning (AFP)

3.     Cell Coverage optimization (ACP), LAC, RAC, TAC Dimensioning

4.     Major route drive testing, Malls, IBS/DAS, walk/drive testing.

·       Drafting new WLA’s with 3rd party suppliers as needed by process improvement initiatives.

·       Sign-off the performance acceptance as per agreed Quality Targets for all modernization projects.

·       Strong Hands-on and Knowledge of DT, Post Processing and Optimization & Planning Tools (e.g., TEMS, Nemo, MapInfo, Atoll, Asset, Forte, Mentor, SON Tools).

 

OH&S/QMS Role and Responsibilities:

 

·       Reports any hazards or risks in addition to Accidents/Incident to QHSE department.

·       Be aware of and complies to i engineering’s IMS Policy.

·       Abides by i engineering’s Local Legal and Client Requirements.

·       Attends and engages in IMS Awareness Sessions.

·       Ensures that all IMS procedures are regularly followed and raises the issue when they are not

qualification

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunication Networks
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Must have strong telecom skills and knowledge of common programs such as Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Capable of professionally managing confidential information.
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of legal terminology.
