• Implement and monitor the Project Quality Control Plan in accordance with contract requirements, DABS specifications, and international standards.
• Lead and manage all site-based quality control activities, including inspections and compliance monitoring of subcontractors.
• Prepare and maintain Quality Control (CQC) plans.
• Review project scope of work, technical specifications, approved drawings, method statements, and other relevant documents.
• Inspect design, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning activities to ensure compliance with approved specifications and drawings.
• Conduct quality inspections of electrical equipment.
• Review manufacturer documentation, factory acceptance test (FAT) results, site test reports, and commissioning records.
• Verify that all materials and equipment delivered to the site comply with approved submittals and are suitable for installation.
• Ensure all required civil and electrical tests are carried out in accordance with technical specifications and that results are properly documented and reported.
• Identify, document, and report non-conformities (NCRs), and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Prepare daily quality control reports reflecting progress, compliance, and resolution of quality issues.
• Coordinate and document all inspections, testing, and commissioning activities in line with DABS requirements.
• Chair and document weekly QC meetings with DABS representatives and site staff, and circulate official meeting minutes.
• Conduct preparatory, initial, and follow-up inspections for each definable feature of work.
• Organize pre-construction meetings with subcontractors prior to commencing new work phases.
• Assign, supervise, and guide QC engineers across different project zones.
• Collaborate closely with site engineers, contractors, suppliers, consultants, and project management to resolve quality-related issues.
• Confirm that all works are executed in accordance with DABS-approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• Prepare and compile project closeout documentation, including as-built drawings, O&M manuals, test reports, and warranties.
• Participate in project meetings and provide professional input on quality matters.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management related to quality assurance and control.
