Public Relation Intern (Kateb University)

duties

1.    Assist to establish appropriate communication with visitors within the university.

2.    Learn and practice to analyze and identify the impacts of university actions on groups and predict public reactions during the implementation of university policies and actions.

3.    Assist team to propose corrections to policies, procedures, and methods that conflict with the interests of groups or the public and share these suggestions with the assistant for student affairs.

4.    Learn and practice to identify university actions that serve the common good and promote these actions, highlighting them in communications with visitors.

5.    Help team to offer suggestions and methods that align with the interests of all stakeholders while also benefiting the university.

6.    Provide general information about all available programs within the university to visitors.

7.    Register new students for master's, bachelor's, computer programs, and the foreign language center.

8.    Organize entrance exams in collaboration with the student affairs management.

9.    Contact registered students to encourage their participation in the entrance exam.

10. Inform successful candidates about the scientific interview process.

11. Assist team to issue student cards to new enrollers.

12. Assist to provide congratulatory and condolence messages in banner format and coordinate their printing with the logistics department.

13. Register students for graduation ceremonies.

14. Contact registered students for the graduation ceremony to receive their attire and invitation cards.

15. Assist team to record incoming and outgoing correspondence for the relevant department.

16. Aid in checking university emails to receive letters or provide online information.

17. Assist team to provide registration reports to the presidency and vice presidencies.

18. Learn and practice collaborating with the language center in organizing language proficiency exams.

19. Follow up on the registration status of language learners in classes.

20. Track the registration status of applicants for short-term computer programs.

21. Learn and practice to collaborate on promoting competitive and research programs within the university.

22. Carry out tasks assigned by the assistant for student affairs.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree ,Economics graduates are preferred, 2024 graduate


Experience:


  • Not Experience required


Skills:

  • Fluency in local language (Pashto or Dari)
  • Familiarity with English
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
