- Oversee the entire procurement cycle, from requisition review and purchase order issuance to delivery and payment, ensuring alignment with production schedules.
- Develop and execute comprehensive category management strategies for raw materials, capital equipment, and services.
- Lead the end-to-end supplier management process, including supplier identification, qualification, negotiation, selection, and performance reviews.
- Build and maintain strong, strategic partnerships with key suppliers to ensure reliability and foster innovation.
- Collaborate closely with production, planning, inventory, and quality control departments to forecast demand and align procurement activities
- Drive significant cost-saving and value-engineering initiatives without compromising on quality or supply security.
- Manage the procurement budget, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and report on cost savings, price variances, and budget adherence.
- Analyze spend data to identify opportunities for consolidation and improved purchasing efficiency.
- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate supply chain risks, including geopolitical, logistical, financial, and supplier-specific vulnerabilities.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of procurement specialists and buyers, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous learning.
- At least Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in procurement or strategic sourcing, with at least 3 years in a managerial or team leadership capacity.
- A strong track record of negotiating and managing high-value, long-term supply agreements and contracts.
