- Assist to develop and implement annual work plans for the Procurement Department.
- Assist to obtain market quotations for the purchase of university-required equipment as instructed by authorized supervisors.
- Help in executing approved procurement proposals submitted by university departments, as authorized by officials.
- Assist to maintain warehouse inventories and other materials under their custody.
- Learn and practice to receive and verify goods and equipment upon delivery to university units.
- Assist to distribute and hand over goods and equipment to relevant staff and departments.
- Learn and practice to oversee the procurement operations of the university.
- Help to maintain proper documentation for all procurement and purchasing activities.
- Learn and practice to prepare periodic procurement reports.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Responsible Authorities.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics or any other relevant field.
Experience:
- Fresh Graduate with no experience
Skills:
- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
The duty station of the intern will be the host entity (Karwan University) and the salary will be paid by Islamic Relief Worldwide- Afghanistan (IRW- A) based on agreement.
