- Support the PHC unit in developing concept notes/proposal, needs analysis, data/information collection, setting indicators and targets.
- Closely work with HIM unit and regularly determine and update underserved areas for new PHC projects, including technical analysis of type of facilities.
- Support in reviewing the NGOs’ proposal and providing technical inputs.
- Support in fulfilling the technical input for the request for proposals from the implementing partners.
- Review the technical reports of the implementing partners and provide relevant technical feedback for further improvement of the project.
- Work and follow up closely with project management unit (PMU) on the implementation of the PHC activities implemented by IPs, and work with IPs for improved service delivery.
- Collect the data and produce weekly, monthly and yearly reports.
- Facilitate all the WHO programs by providing information including support in conducting trainings of WHO supported PHC staff.
- Support and assist in preparing donor’s reports.
- Develop and maintain mapping of the WHO supported PHC interventions.
- Conduct field visits to the PHC interventions sites.
- Participate in all coordination meetings related to primary health care or any other cross cutting programs.
- Assist in organizing relevant meetings with implementing partner, taking notes and minutes of the meetings.
- Assist in conducting training activities.
- Perform other related duties as deemed necessary or requested by the supervisors/ WHO Representative.

Education (Qualifications):
Educations:
Essential: University degree (Bachelor) in medicine.
Desirable: Master’s degree in public health or associated discipline and knowledge and experience of WHO and UN system
Experience:
Essential: Minimum of 1 year' field experience of primary health care management and working with MOPH/NGO/UN in EPHS/BPHS,
Desirable: Relevant experience in the UN system
Languages: Fluency of spoken and written English and local language.
IT Skills:
- Good knowledge of Microsoft applications.
