duties

Key Responsibilities

A. Parcel Handling Support

  • Assist in loading and unloading shipments at MOAM branches and warehouses.
  • Tag parcels appropriately and place them in designated sorting zones.
  • Ensure handling of sensitive or fragile items follows company protocol.

 

B. Documentation and Photocopying

  • Support in documentation of waybills, delivery receipts, IDs, and other shipping-related paperwork.
  • Label and prepare documentation bundles for daily dispatches.
  • Submit signed receipts and records to the Operations Officer.

 

C. Tracking System Updates

  • Update parcel status (received, dispatched, delivered, pending) as per SOPs.
  • Report system errors or data entry gaps promptly.

 

D. Filing and Recordkeeping

  • Maintain organized physical and digital files of operational records.
  • Archive delivery records, parcel intake logs, and exception reports.
  • Retrieve documents for audit or operational review as requested.

 

E. Customer Interaction

  • Greet customers at the service counter and assist with basic inquiries.
  • Provide package updates, receive complaints, and route issues to responsible officers.
  • Maintain professionalism and customer-friendly demeanor at all times.

 

F. Communication and Coordination

  • Coordinate with drivers, warehouse personnel, and branch team for task updates.
  • Communicate shortages, damages, or discrepancies to the Operations Officer.
  • Relay urgent updates or requests to relevant units.

  • Daily parcel intake and dispatch checklists.
  • Filing of shipment documents and delivery confirmations.
  • Well-maintained filing system for operational paperwork.
  • Customer interaction logs and complaints forwarded.


Working Relationships

  • Internal: Operations Officer, Warehouse Staff, Drivers, Customer Care, Customs Brokerage.
  • External: Walk-in customers, delivery personnel, courier agents.

Qualifications & Competencies

  • High school graduate; any additional studies an advantage.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in logistics or administrative support.
  • Basic computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, tracking systems).
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
  • Courteous, disciplined, and team oriented.
