Operate mechanized cleaning equipment such as vacuums, polishers, and buffers.
Maintain facilities in a clean, sanitary, and infection-free condition through washing, disinfecting, and
replacing linens and supplies as needed.
Clean in damp, dusty, or soiled areas, including safe handling of human waste and bodily fluids per health and safety protocols.
Collect and dispose of trash and waste materials appropriately.
Dust surfaces, including furniture, light fixtures, and window sills; wet mop floors daily in resident rooms, bathrooms, corridors, lobbies, and dining areas.
Assist kitchen staff with meal preparation, serving tea, and other related tasks as needed.
Report maintenance issues (e.g., leaks, broken tiles, damaged furniture) to the supervisor promptly.
Follow supervisor instructions, office rules, and hygiene and safety procedures.
She will also be responsible for ironing clothes and doing the laundry, in addition to any other duties assigned by the line manager
Education:
Completion of primary school is required. Completion of high school is an advantage, but not mandatory.
Work Experience:
3 years of hands-on experience in cleaning roles, preferably with national or international organizations
Technical Skills:
Good understanding of basic hygiene practices and proper use of cleaning tools, detergents, and equipment for maintaining clean and sanitary office spaces and premises.
Personal Skills :
Able to report issues such as broken equipment, hygiene concerns, or accidents to the supervisor promptly and clearly.
Personal Qualities:
Polite, respectful, and approachable at all times. Shows humility and cooperation when interacting with staff and visitors.
Attentive to cleanliness and order; takes pride in keeping the workplace neat, tidy, and hygienic. Reliable, punctual, and takes initiative in routine and assigned tasks.
Languages:
Must be able to communicate clearly in Dari and Pashto. Basic English communication skills are a plus, but not required.
