- Design, install, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, WLAN, and internet connectivity
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure maximum uptime
- Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers
- Implement network security measures, including VPNs, firewalls, and access controls
- Perform network upgrades, patches, and capacity planning
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues
- Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and standard operating procedures
- Collaborate with IT teams, vendors, and service providers
- Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proven experience 2-3 years as a Network Engineer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs
- Hands-on experience with Cisco, MikroTik, or similar networking equipment
- Familiarity with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools
- Understanding of network security principles and protocols
- Knowledge of wireless technologies and network cabling
Preferred Skills & Certifications
- CCNA / CCNP or equivalent certifications is a plus
- Knowledge of server side administration and deployment (Windows Server, Linux)
- Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Soft Skills
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong time-management and multitasking abilities
- Willingness to work on-call or outside normal business hours if required.
