Develop and execute national sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets
Set, monitor, and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Lead, mentor, and manage regional sales teams and area managers.
Analyze sales data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for growth.
Recruit, train, and mentor regional and area sales managers.
Organize national and regional sales meetings, workshops, and training sessions.
Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and customer feedback.
Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and expansion areas.
Collaborate with marketing to develop promotional campaigns and product positioning.
Lead product launches and ensure effective market penetration.
Ensure optimal product mix and manage pricing strategies to maximize profitability.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, hospitals, pharmacies, and healthcare professionals
Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities
Ensure all sales activities comply with pharmaceutical regulations and ethical standards.
Collaborate with marketing, logistics, and finance teams to align sales efforts
Prepare and present regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and budgets to senior management
Oversee accurate and timely reporting of sales data, forecasts, and budgets.
Forecast demand and coordinate with production for timely product availability.
Design incentive schemes and trade leverage plans to boost performance.
Implement corrective actions based on performance reviews and market feedback.
Coordinate with legal and regulatory teams for audits and documentation.
Provide input on demand forecasting, inventory planning, and product availability.
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Business, or related field (MBA preferred)
Minimum 7 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, with at least 4 years in a leadership role
Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical distribution and regulatory frameworks
Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite
Willingness to travel nationally as required
