Key Responsibilities:
Team Lead & Operations
- Lead and supervise the technical team in daily field operations, ensuring efficiency, professionalism, and timely task completion.
- Coordinate technical resources for wireless and microwave network installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Provide remote and on-site technical support to field technicians and clients.
- Track and manage customer issues through the UCRM Helpdesk, ensuring timely resolution and proper follow-up.
- Monitor and maintain Customer Premises Equipment (CPEs) and network devices through AirControl or other management systems.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive daily, weekly, and monthly reports summarizing operational performance and key updates.
Microwave Systems
- Execute the installation, activation, and troubleshooting of microwave links following established protocols.
- Perform Radio Frequency (RF) testing, signal analysis, and alignment to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct site surveys to determine optimal equipment placement, line-of-sight, and signal strength.
- Troubleshoot and repair microwave radio equipment and related components.
- Conduct surveys for Microwave projects, arrange requirements, and implement technical solutions as needed.
- Take full responsibility for all microwave-related field activities and knowledge transfer to the team.
Wireless Systems
- Installation and deployment of UAT and customer wireless network equipment.
- Ensure installed wireless equipment is fully functional and optimized for performance.
- Document and share technical solutions to improve team knowledge and future efficiency.
LAN & Network Support
- Oversee the installation and configuration of LAN network devices to meet customer and project requirements.
- Troubleshooting network infrastructure issues for both internal systems and customer environments.
- Collaborate with NOC, CRM, and Helpdesk teams to ensure end-to-end service reliability.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in Computer Science (BCS), Information Technology (BIT), or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in IT, networking, or ISP operations, preferably within the telecommunications sector, with hands-on experience in wireless and microwave networks.
- Certifications such as CWNP/CWNA, CCNP/CCNA, and MCITP are highly preferred and will be an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of RF principles and microwave transmission technologies.
- Expertise in wireless network system and equipment, LAN/WAN infrastructure, IP addressing, VLANs, routing, and Layer 2/3 switching.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco devices, network troubleshooting, and network monitoring tools.
- Ability to configure, deploy, and maintain new wireless or network equipment efficiently.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities with excellent communication skills in both English and the local language.
- Excellent Problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
