- Execute the installation, activation, and troubleshooting of microwave links following established protocols.
- Perform radio frequency (RF) testing and analysis.
- Conduct site surveys to determine optimal equipment placement and signal strength.
- Troubleshoot and repair microwave radio equipment and related components.
- Install and configure LAN network devices to meet customer requirements effectively.
- Troubleshoot LAN network devices and provide the best solution in case of second option availability.
- Conduct surveys for network projects, arrange requirements, and implement solutions as needed.
- Collaborate with other technicians and stakeholders to identify and resolve network issues
- UAT wireless base stations maintenance and resolving 1st level base station issues (in cooperation with Head Office)
- Installing Wire and Wireless equipment at UA wireless base stations and ensuring 100% functionality upon completion.
- Integrating technical solutions successfully done on-site and sharing it with other team members for future use.
- Detailed daily and weekly reports to under-assigned manager.
Qualifications and requirements:
· High school diploma or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
· Knowledge of RF principles and microwave transmission technologies
· A minimum of 3 years of experience in network installation and troubleshooting and/ or relevant field.
· Relevant certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNA, MCITP or equivalent) will be considered an advantage.
· Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical information effectively.
· Full understanding and speaking of Dari, Pashto, and English language
