Medicine Faculty Intern (Kateb University)

duties

Key Responsibilities

1)   Assist in preparing the semester course schedule in coordination with department heads and the dean of the faculty.

2)   Assist in preparing the final exam schedule for each semester in collaboration with department heads and the dean.

3)   Learn and practice filling in the timesheets for permanent and visiting lecturers based on attendance records and their supplementary forms.

4)   Serving as a communication bridge between students, department heads, and the faculty administration.

5)   Learn and practice preparing faculty attendance lists and recording faculty attendance.

6)   Assist in monitoring the proper completion of course registration forms with respect to prerequisites and the minimum and maximum number of courses.

7)   Entering student course selections into their academic files.

8)   Assist in properly organizing and archiving faculty documents on designated shelves.

9)   Assisting department heads and the dean in preparing the necessary documentation for quality assurance standards.

10) Participating in academic and quality assurance council meetings at the faculty and department levels and recording the decisions in the minutes.

11) Help in verifying and recording student diplomas in the designated register.

12) Help in verifying and recording student transcripts in the designated register.

13) Help in registering incoming and outgoing letters in the official logbook and archiving them properly in the faculty administration.

14) Collecting student petitions and applications to refer them to department heads and the dean.

15) Contacting instructors for coordination to ensure timely implementation of faculty programs under supervision.

16) Preparing student attendance sheets, delivering them to instructors, and collecting them afterward under supervision.

17) Assisting the student affairs office in organizing exams properly.

18) Informing students about the presence or absence of instructors and contacting them as needed for make-up classes.

19) Instructor issues related to classrooms or administrative matters are addressed to academic officers, who report them to the academic deputy.

20) Assist in submitting monthly reports to the direct supervisor.

21) Performing other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor or dean of faculty

Required Qualifications:


Education:

  • Bachelor's degree  (Medicine graduates are preferred), 2024 graduate.


Experience:

  • No Experience required

Skills

  • Fluency in local language (Pashto or Dari)
  • Familiarity with English
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
