1. Laboratory Testing and Analysis
• Learn and practice to perform diagnostic laboratory tests on patient samples, including blood, urine, tissue, and other biological materials.
• Learn and practice to analyze test results using specialized equipment and interpret findings to assist healthcare providers in diagnosis and treatment decisions.
• Assist team to ensure accuracy and precision in laboratory test procedures, adhering to established protocols and standards.
2. Equipment Operation and Maintenance
• Learn and practice to operate and maintain medical laboratory equipment, ensuring it is functioning correctly and calibrated.
• Aid to troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions as needed and notify the supervisor of any major issues.
• Help to ensure that equipment is regularly cleaned and properly stored to prevent contamination or damage.
3. Sample Collection and Handling
• Learn and practice to collect patient samples for testing, following proper protocols to ensure sample integrity and minimize the risk of contamination.
• Learn and practice to label and organize samples accurately to ensure correct processing and testing.
• Minimum of a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Laboratory Sciences, or related field. (Male: 2024 graduate, Female, 2021 and onwards graduate)
• Fluency in Dari, Pashto and English is an advantage.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to handle and analyze clinical samples accurately.
