Key Responsibilities:
Assist to administer basic first aid for minor injuries and illnesses under supervision.
Respond to on-campus incidents and assist in stabilizing patients until professional medical care arrives.
Maintain first aid kits, emergency supplies, and medical inventory under supervision
Keep accurate records of first aid treatments and incident reports.
Support health campaigns, awareness events, and wellness checks.
Assist with the preparation of safety materials and training sessions (e.g., CPR demos, first aid drills).
Coordinate with emergency services during more serious incidents.
Uphold confidentiality and follow all safety and health protocols.
Learning Outcomes:
Develop hands-on first aid and emergency response skills.
Gain exposure to real-time medical support scenarios in a supervised setting.
Understand healthcare operations and patient interaction fundamentals.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education
- Bachelor’s degree medical, nursing, paramedic, or health sciences program. 2024 graduate
Experience:
- No experience is required
Skills:
- Basic First Aid and CPR certification (required or willingness to obtain).
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stay calm and act quickly in emergency situations.
- High attention to hygiene, safety, and detail.
- Professional, ethical, and responsible demeanor.
