- Operate cameras and professional production tools in various settings, including studios, remote locations, and field sites.
- Capture compelling interviews, footage, and on-the-ground visuals for documentation and campaigns.
- Edit videos into high-impact content for campaigns, reports, and donor presentations.
- Add graphics, subtitles, and sound mixing, ensuring consistency with branding and style guidelines.
- Develop and implement a social media content strategy aligned with campaign objectives.
- Create, publish, and monitor engaging multimedia content across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Track platform analytics and adjust strategies to improve reach, engagement, and impact.
- Lead small production teams, including videographers, content creators, and translators.
- Coordinate logistics and schedules; collaborate closely with program and communications teams.
- Travel frequently to project sites and adapt to diverse, sometimes high-pressure or austere environments.
- Ensure production equipment is operational, troubleshoot issues, and maintain proper care and storage of all tools and gear.
- Produce content tailored for advocacy, fundraising, reporting, and external communication.
- Maintain high storytelling quality while meeting donor and stakeholder expectations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the direct supervisor.
• Graduated from Computer science, journalism, sociology and psychology.
• Proven expertise in camera operation, multimedia production, and video editing (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve).
• Able to speak Dari, Pashto and proficiency in English (oral and written)—for scripting, communication, and collaboration.
• Solid experience managing social media content, including strategic planning, community engagement, and analytics.
• Demonstrated leadership and team coordination experience in media or creative production.
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently, including to remote or challenging locations.
• Flexibility, resilience, and the ability to work calmly under pressure.
• A strong sense of responsibility towards humanitarian values and the organization’s mission.
