duties

a)    Assisting the Legal manager in supervising legal follow-up of causes related to delinquent loans with local courts and traditional authorities (Shura Leader and Malik);

b)    Assisting the Legal Manager in follow-up of legal cases with employees and other companies;

c)    Write and prepare the defense statement and objection over the prosecution appeal in due time.

d)    Participate in the prosecution investigation process regarding OXUS’s client and employee. Participate in judicial sessions and defend OXUS’s interests in court trials

e)    File legal cases in the relevant courts against the default borrowers.

f)     Work with the Credit team for the recovery of the default loans

g)    Prepare, review, and provide legal advice on all legal documents including loan

h)    Translation of legislative documents (Bills, Manuals, Policies, and Training materials) from English to Dari and vice versa;

i)      Compile terminology and information to be used in translations, including technical terms such as those for legal material;

j)      Check translations of technical terms and terminology to ensure that they are accurate and remain consistent throughout translation revisions;

k)    Identify and resolve conflicts related to the meanings of words, concepts, practices, or behaviors;

l)      Refer to reference materials such as dictionaries, Babylon, encyclopedias, and computerized terminology banks as needed to ensure translation accuracy;

m)    Verbal translation services in meetings and conferences;

n)    Any other related tasks assigned by the Legal Manager;

 

Administrative Follow-Up

 

o)    Provide work permit and VISA for all ex-pats;

p)    Renew the company license when needed;

q)    Centralizes all legal contracts;

 

qualification

Education & Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent.
  • Licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction is preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum of 2–5 years of experience in legal advisory, corporate law, or a related field.
  • Experience with contract management, regulatory compliance, and dispute resolution is highly desirable.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of national and international laws, regulations, and legal frameworks relevant to the organization.
  • Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and legal documents.
  • Ability to provide practical legal advice aligned with business objectives.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Ethical conduct, integrity, and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Familiarity with corporate governance and compliance management systems is a plus.
