- Assist in collecting blood, urine, stool, and other specimens from patients.
- Label, store, and transport samples correctly to avoid contamination.
- Perform basic tests under supervision (e.g., hemoglobin, blood glucose, malaria smears, urine analysis).
- Prepare slides and cultures for microbiological examination.
- Operate and maintain lab equipment (microscopes, centrifuges, glucometers).
- Follow strict sterilization and disinfection protocols.
- Adhere to biosafety measures when handling infectious samples.
- Assist in maintaining lab records and reporting accurate results.
- Assist in stock monitoring of lab reagents, chemicals, and supplies.
- Ensure proper waste disposal according to safety guidelines.
Requirements:
- Education: Graduated from a recognized university or medical institute between 2020 and 2025 with a diploma or bachelor's degree in Nursing.
Experience: Fresh Graduated with no work experience
- Skills:
- Basic knowledge of nursing procedures and patient care.
- Ability to work in high-stress environments (especially for ICU).
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Capable of standing for long hours and lifting patients when needed.
- Proficiency in Dari/Pashto; basic English is a plus.
