- Assist in collecting blood, urine, stool, and other specimens from patients.
- Label, store, and transport samples correctly to avoid contamination.
- Perform basic tests under supervision (e.g., hemoglobin, blood glucose, malaria smears, urine analysis).
- Prepare slides and cultures for microbiological examination.
- Operate and maintain lab equipment (microscopes, centrifuges, glucometers).
- Follow strict sterilization and disinfection protocols.
- Adhere to biosafety measures when handling infectious samples.
- Assist in maintaining lab records and reporting accurate results.
- Assist in stock monitoring of lab reagents, chemicals, and supplies.
- Ensure proper waste disposal according to safety guidelines.
Education:
- Recently graduated from a recognized university or medical institute in the field of medical laboratory technology

Fresh graduate with no experience
- Skills:
- Basic knowledge of lab procedures and equipment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in testing.
- Ability to stand for long hours and handle delicate instruments.
- Proficiency in Dari/Pashto; basic English for medical terminology.
