- Assist in researching, writing, and editing news articles, reports, and features.
- Conduct interviews with individuals relevant to assigned stories.
- Support the creation of multimedia content including photos, short videos, and social media posts.
- Attend press conferences, community events, and other newsworthy activities to gather information.
- Help in verifying facts, cross-check information, and ensure content accuracy and clarity.
- Help maintain content calendars and contribute ideas for stories and campaigns.
- Assist with the editing and proofreading of press releases and publications.
- Work under the guidance of senior journalists to learn reporting ethics, journalistic writing styles, and audience engagement strategies.
- Ensure all content complies with the organization's editorial guidelines and journalistic standards.
Education:
- Recently graduated from the Journalism faculty/University, 2024 graduated
Experience:
- Fresh graduate with no experience
Skills:
- Good writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of news writing structure
- Interest in media, news reporting, and storytelling.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital publishing tools is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Good interpersonal skills for conducting interviews and interacting with diverse audiences.
- Good communication skills in Pashto, Dari and English
- Computer skills

The duty station of the intern will be the host entity (Badllon Radio) and the salary will be paid by Islamic Relief Worldwide- Afghanistan (IRW- A) based on agreement.
