- Audits information systems, platforms, and operating procedures of IT in accordance with established standards for efficiency, accuracy and security.
- Determines and recommends improvements in current controls and implementation of system changes or upgrades.
- Evaluates IT infrastructure in terms of risk to the organization and establishes controls to mitigate loss.
- Develops and implements Information Technology (IT) audit coverage program.
- Provides internal control guidance during system development initiatives.
- Coordinates information technology audit objectives with internal audit.
- Assists the line Manager in developing and updating the annual audit plan.
- Interacts with senior management to discuss IT audit findings.
- Preparing comprehensive audit reports outlining findings, conclusions, and recommendations
- Performs audits and special assignments as needed.
- Bachelor’ Degree in Computer Science.
- At least 2-3 years’ experience in related field.
- IT related certifications.
- Audit-related certifications.
- Fluent communication skills (Written and verbal) Pashto, Dari and English.
- Having good analytical and diagnostic skills.
- Being accurate, professional and objective in assigned audit task.
Knowledge:
- Accounting, MS Office, mathematics, audit procedures including planning, testing and sampling methods in conducting an audit
