1. Assist the IT team in installation, maintenance, updating and securing specialized IT equipment at the university
2. Assist IT officer in installation, maintenance and updating of university servers based on university needs
3. Assist IT team in maintenance and provision of support for various university departments
4. Learn network management including monitoring internal communication lines
5. Assist in monitoring and controlling hardware activities of relevant units
6. Learn determining computer specifications and necessary settings for its optimal use
7. Learn troubleshooting systems and fixing hardware problems
8. Assist IT team in installing internal components and computer accessories
9. Learn examining and diagnosing operating system defects and repairing and updating them
10. Assist in installing the necessary software to launch the system
11. Assist in installing various operating systems and applications
12. Assist in installing antiviruses in all systems related to network and various university departments
13. Learn creating settings and establishing connections for students, professors and administrative staff to use the Internet
14. Assist IT team in training and guidance personnel to fix hardware and software problems
15. Provide contribution in visiting departments and examining hardware and network problems and fixing existing problems
16. Recording a hardware list of computers that do not have an identification code
17. Following up on hardware causes of internet disruptions or disconnections
18. Assist in periodically visiting computers in the relevant unit and fixing hardware and software defects
19. Assist team in reviewing information provided by various internet service companies and providing comments on them
20. Proper maintenance of available equipment
21. Managing the Internet used by students and administrative users
Required Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree , Computer Science graduates are preferred (Male graduates of 2024)
Experience:
- No Experience required
Skills
- Fluency in local language (Pashto or Dari)
- Familiarity with English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
