- Assist in maintaining accurate records of hospital departmental fixed assets.
- Support the monitoring of fixed assets and generate update departmental reports on monthly basis.
- Help with the labeling, shelving, and organization of update fixed assets inventory list.
- Affix tag number on departmental fixed assets and equipment’s as per the hospital policy.
- Assist in controlling the movement, sale and damage of the fixed assets for updating the inventory list.
- Assist team to avoid movement of the fixed assets without getting prior approval from the hospital administration department.
- Participate in regular stocktaking, audits, and inventory reconciliation.
- Assist in receiving deliveries and checking against purchase orders.
- Enter data into inventory management systems and update inventory records.
- Assist team to follow up with relevant departments to ensure timely control and updating the fixed assets lists.
- Assist team to ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures related to inventory control.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or any other related field.
Experience:
- Fresh Graduate with no experience
Skills:
- Basic knowledge of inventory systems or databases is an asset.
- Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
Learning Opportunities:

The duty station of the intern will be the host entity (Blossom Healthcare Centre) and the salary will be paid by Islamic Relief Worldwide- Afghanistan (IRW- A) based on agreement.
