Day-to-Day HRM Tasks:
- Manage daily HR operations, ensuring compliance with SUNLIGHT Electricity Services Co policies and procedures.
- Provide support to employees regarding HR-related inquiries and issues.
Employee Contracts:
- Prepare and issue employment contracts for new hires and contract renewals.
- Ensure contracts comply with legal requirements and organizational policies.
HR Forms and Documentation:
- Develop, maintain, and update HR forms and templates as needed.
- Ensure proper documentation of employee records and maintain confidentiality.
Recruitment Support:
- Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, and scheduling interviews.
- Coordinate onboarding processes for new employees.
Performance Management:
- Support the performance appraisal process by providing necessary documentation and tracking performance reviews.
- Assist in the development and implementation of performance improvement plans.
Employee Relations:
- Foster positive employee relations by addressing employee concerns and facilitating conflict resolution.
- Organize employee engagement activities and initiatives to promote a positive work environment.
Leave Management:
- Handle staff leave management, including tracking leave requests and maintaining accurate leave records.
- Ensure compliance with SUNLIGHT Electricity Services Co policies and Afghanistan labor law regarding leave entitlements.
Employee Records Maintenance:
- Maintain employee records with regards to HR documentation and staffing lists.
- Ensure all HR documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
Payroll Coordination:
- Report to the Finance department about the payroll process on a monthly basis.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll-related information.
Training and Development:
- Identify training needs and assist in organizing training sessions for employees.
- Maintain records of employee training and development activities.
Travel Requirements:
- Travel to provinces if needed to support HR functions and initiatives.
Additional Tasks:
- Perform any other HR-related tasks as assigned by the direct supervisor.
- Collaborate with other departments to support HR initiatives and projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in HR roles, preferably in a similar capacity.
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and Afghanistan Labor Law.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Reporting Structure:
The HR Officer will report directly to the HR Manager, collaborating with other team members and departments as needed.
Working Conditions:
- The HR Officer will work at the headquarters on all official working days.
- Some overtime may be required during peak periods, such as recruitment cycles, and travel to provinces if needed.
