Accountabilities:
- Data Entry and Monitoring, assist with daily data entry tasks for the health facilities (clinics, hospitals, health centers) and support the establishment of monitoring tools for data collection processes.
- Data Verification, ensure that all collected data is accurate, consistent, and aligned with the project's indicators. Perform regular checks to ensure the quality and completeness of data.
- Technical Assistance, provide technical support and guidance to the health care providers and data entry team on how to use HMIS tools for data entry. Help resolve issues related to data collection.
- Data Analysis Support, assist in analyzing collected data to identify trends, gaps, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Support the review and assessment of data to ensure project targets are being met.
- Reporting and Feedback, assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly reports on analyzed data. Provide feedback to the health facilities on the status of their data quality and suggest areas for improvement.
- Capacity Building Support, assist in identifying and addressing training needs for the health facilities' staff related to HMIS. Participate in on-the-job training sessions to improve skills in data entry, quality control, and analysis.
- HR Coordination, support the HR department in monitoring the training and development needs of the data entry staff. Assist in the organization of training or induction programs for new data team members.
- Support Project Teams, attend regular internal meetings and training sessions, such as MAGNA's coordination meetings and trainings, to contribute to team updates and feedback. Participate in the dissemination of project-related information to the team.
- Data Update and Communication, ensure that all HMIS data collection tools are updated regularly. Assist in sharing relevant updates with team members and healthcare providers to ensure consistent communication of expectations.
- Report Preparation, support the preparation and submission of regular data reports to the Ministry of Health (MoPH), donors, and MAGNA. Ensure reports are accurate, complete, and submitted on time.
- Team Collaboration, work closely with the medical team and health supervisors to ensure proper data collection and entry practices. Participate in collaborative team efforts to assess and improve data handling processes.
- Additional Tasks, perform any other tasks assigned by the supervisor to support the success of the project, including assisting with other administrative or operational activities as needed

- He will ensure that all HMIS data collection tools are updated regularly. Assist in sharing relevant updates with team members and healthcare providers to ensure consistent communication of expectations.
- He will ensure the regular supply of HMIS tools to the health facilities, and he will maintain the supply of HMIS tools on need based to the health facilities.
- He will assist in ensuring that all staff follow the HMIS Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for data collection and documentation.
- He will assist with the verification and validation of collected data to maintain consistency and quality at all health facility levels.
- He will ensure that all collected data is accurate, consistent, and aligned with the project's indicators. Perform regular checks to ensure the quality and completeness of data.
- He will help in analyzing key project indicators and comparing collected data with project targets to assess the performance of activities and identify areas for improvement.
- He will ensure that all patient data and sensitive information are handled with full respect and maintained confidentially in accordance with privacy guidelines.
He will perform any other tasks assigned by the supervisor to support the success of the project, including assisting with other administrative or operational activities as needed
Education
MD/ Nursing degree from recognized institute
Experience
At least 2 years of experience in HMIS and Data entry.
