- Provide technical and administrative support for the implementation and supervision of WHO supported health activities in the region.
- Monitor and support the WHO project activities including facilitating training in the provinces and the regions.
- Plan and design partnerships across the Organization and beyond to ensure building capacity and promoting teamwork with health and non- health partners in the region, it can be WASH, Nutrition clusters, collaborating work for developing technical materials and actual implementation of training program for all categories of health workers in the region.
- Supervise the storage and the proper distribution of emergency medical supplies and equipment and ensure timely replenishment of regional stock of emergencies.
- Coordinate and ensure active participation and representation of WHO in all emergency forum of coordination e.g. provincial public health coordination committee (PHCC), emergency preparedness and response committees, provincial disaster management committee meetings, ASMT, UNRET, HRT
- Followed office MOSS compliance with close collaboration of local Security Assistant.
- Assess emergency needs including regular monitoring of disease surveillance and viable health information system in the region and initiate proper response.
- Supervise all technical and financial report submissions aligned with WHO financial and administrative rules and regulations.
- Ensure timely completion of the projects and prepare monthly and quarterly reports and submit them to first and second level supervisors.
- Coordinate with all the programs of country office and facilitate the programmatic activities at regional and provincial level.
- Perform other related duties as deemed necessary or requested by the supervisor and/or WHE TL.

Education (Qualifications):
Educations:
Essential: University degree (Bachelor) in medicine.
Desirable: Master’s degree in public health or associated discipline and knowledge and experience of WHO and UN system
Experience:
Essential: Minimum of 2 years' field experience of emergency health service delivery and working with MOPH/NGO in EPHS/BPHS, out of which two years of project management experience at the national or international level.
Desirable: Relevant experience in the UN system
Languages: Fluency of spoken and written English and local language.
IT Skills:
- Good knowledge of Microsoft applications.
