1. Develop and implement procurement strategies specific to the Amu Darya Project.
2. Plan, coordinate, and oversee all procurement activities, including tendering, supplier selection, and contract management.
3. Ensure the timely procurement of materials, equipment, and services to support project operations.
4. Manage relationships with suppliers, contractors, and vendors to secure favorable terms, quality, and reliability.
5. Monitor market trends, identify opportunities for cost savings, and optimize procurement processes.
6. Ensure strict compliance with MoMP regulations, national procurement laws, and company policies.
7. Prepare procurement reports and provide regular updates to the Project Director and senior management.
8. Lead, mentor, and develop the procurement team to maintain high performance standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 5 to 7 years of work experience in procurement.”
- Strong knowledge of procurement laws, regulations, and best practices in Afghanistan.
- Excellent negotiation, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a project environment.
