FTTH Network Management:
• Lead the planning, design, deployment, and optimization of FTTH infrastructure.
• Ensure end-to-end fiber network performance, from core to customer premises.
• Manage fiber network expansion, upgrades, and maintenance activities.
• Oversee OLT, ONT, and passive network components to ensure seamless connectivity.
• Troubleshoot fiber-related issues, including splicing, power levels, and transmission losses.
• Coordinate with field teams for fault resolution, preventive maintenance, and quality assurance.
IP Network Management:
• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IP networks, ensuring high availability and security.
• Manage core, aggregation, and access network configurations, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Monitor network traffic, performance, and security, implementing necessary optimizations.
• Handle IP addressing, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, etc.), and VLAN management.
• Ensure network resilience and redundancy through proper failover mechanisms.
Project Management & Strategy:
• Lead FTTH projects from conception to execution, ensuring timely delivery within budget.
• Work with internal teams, vendors, and contractors to ensure efficient project execution.
• Develop and enforce network policies, best practices, and industry standards.
• Evaluate new technologies and solutions to enhance network performance and reliability.
• Manage documentation, reporting, and compliance with regulatory
• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Networking, or a related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in FTTH network deployment and IP networking.
• Strong expertise in fiber optics, GPON, EPON, and related FTTH technologies.
• Solid understanding of IP networking, routing, switching, and security protocols.
• Experience with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting methodologies.
• Proven ability to manage large-scale FTTH rollouts and network infrastructure projects.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and project management abilities.
Preferred Certifications (a plus):
• CCNP, JNCIP, or equivalent networking certifications
• FTTH Council Certifications
• Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2)
