1. Financial Accounting & Reporting:
- Maintain and update general ledger accounts.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure timely reconciliation of bank statements, receivables, payables, and inventory.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports for management and external stakeholders.
2. Cost & Inventory Accounting:
- Monitor and analyze manufacturing costs, including raw materials, labor, and overhead.
- Track and reconcile inventory movements (raw materials, WIP, finished goods).
- Develop and maintain accurate product costing models.
- Perform variance analysis and report key findings to management.
3. Budgeting & Forecasting:
- Assist in preparing annual budgets and production cost forecasts.
- Monitor budget vs actual performance and report on key variances.
4. Compliance & Controls:
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, accounting standards, and internal controls.
- Coordinate with external auditors and support the audit process.
- Prepare and file tax returns and ensure accurate VAT, income tax, and other statutory filings.
5. ERP / Accounting Software:
- Manage daily accounting operations using ERP or accounting systems.
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry and reporting within the system.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on accounting experience in a manufacturing company.
- Strong understanding of cost accounting and inventory control.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of ERP systems ( QuickBooks ).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
