- Develop and implement financial strategies to support organizational goals.
- Manage the organization’s budget, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing insights and recommendations.
- Prepare timely and accurate financial statements and reports for management and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate and oversee the annual audit process.
- Monitor cash flow and ensure sufficient liquidity to meet operational needs.
- Develop cash flow forecasts and manage cash reserves.
- Identify financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.
- Ensure effective internal controls are in place to safeguard assets.
- Lead and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Provide training and support to staff on financial policies and procedures.
- Liaise with external stakeholders, including auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies.
- Prepare financial presentations for board meetings and stakeholder engagements.
Education:
- BBA, ACCA part qualified or bachelors in Finance, Accounting, or a related field or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) preferred.
Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Reporting skills
Job requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management or a related field.
- Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and audit processes.
- Ability to travel.
- Fluency in English is must
- Ability to work under difficult conditions.
