- Helping in the maintenance of internal departmental accounting system on the computer and back up paper copy.
- Support team in Preparing internal vouchers and posting the entries in the system upon authorization of the vouchers.
- Assist team in maintaining departmental records such as files, reports, voucher record, etc.
- Contributing team in maintaining the soft copy of the Fixed Assets Register duly updated on day to day basis.
- Help team in preparing daily deposit report, weekly M1 Report (Cash Report) and ensures the same are duly submitted to DAB without delay.
- Assisting team in generating Daily Trail Balance, preparation and submission of the Daily Report to Management.
- Assist in reconciliation of Suspense/Sundry Accounts on day to day basis and follow up with concerned department/branch for early adjustment of outstanding entries.
- Assist in reconciliation of Prepaid Expenses Accounts and charging off the expenses on month ends.
- Maintains and serves as point of contact with the Administrative Offices concerning accounting issues.
- Answers incoming calls and provides routine information in response to inquiries.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in BBA, Economics, BCS, or LLB (Male graduates of 2024; female graduates from 2021 onward)
Experience:
- Fresh Graduate with no experience
Language Skills:
- Proficiency in Dari, Pashto, and English
Computer Skills:
- Proficiency in MS Office is required
The duty station of the intern will be the host entity (Islamic Bank of Afghanistan) and the salary will be paid by Islamic Relief Worldwide- Afghanistan (IRW- A) based on agreement.
