Financial Reporting and Analysis:

• Prepare, review, and ensure the accuracy of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Conduct detailed financial analysis to support decision-making, including variance analysis, cost analysis, and trend analysis.
• Assist with the preparation of financial statements in compliance with accounting standards and regulations (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
• Support the Finance Manager in ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

• Lead the preparation and development of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
• Monitor and track budget performance throughout the year, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
• Analyze budget variances and provide recommendations for corrective actions to management.

Cash Flow and Treasury Management:

• Oversee cash flow management, ensuring adequate liquidity for operational needs.
• Monitor cash position and recommend appropriate actions to maintain optimal cash levels.
• Support treasury operations, including banking relationships and investment management.

Internal Controls and Compliance:

• Ensure adherence to internal financial policies, procedures, and controls to mitigate financial risk.
• Monitor compliance with relevant financial regulations and corporate governance standards.
• Assist in preparing for audits, including coordinating with auditors and providing requested financial documentation.

Financial System Management:

• Support the implementation and maintenance of financial management systems and tools.
• Work closely with the IT department to ensure systems are updated, optimized, and secure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to financial software and reporting.

Team Leadership and Support:

• Supervise and provide guidance to junior finance staff, including reviewing their work and providing training and mentorship.
• Foster a collaborative and efficient work environment within the finance team.
• Support the development of team members' skills and knowledge in financial accounting, reporting, and analysis.

Strategic Support:

• Provide key financial insights to senior management to support strategic decision-making.
• Participate in financial planning and analysis to evaluate new business opportunities, investments, and cost-saving initiatives.
• Prepare presentations for management on financial performance, forecasts, and key financial metrics.

Other Duties:

• Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as required by the Finance Manager or Director.
• Stay current with changes in financial regulations, tax laws, and industry best practices.
• Perform other tasks as directed by senior management.
