- Assist ophthalmologists and eye care professionals during patient eye examinations and diagnostic procedures
- Support vision testing, including visual acuity, refraction screening, and basic eye health assessments.
- Prepare, clean, and maintain ophthalmic equipment and instruments in accordance with safety and hygiene standards.
- Accurately record and organize patient data, examination results, and medical histories.
- Guide and support patients throughout eye examinations and treatments to ensure comfort and cooperation.
- Observe and assist in ophthalmic diagnostic procedures such as tonometry, fundus examination, and basic imaging techniques.
- Assist ophthalmologists during minor and major ophthalmic surgical procedures, including preparation of the operating area, instruments, and patients, under direct supervision.
- Maintain strict confidentiality, professionalism, and ethical standards in handling patient information.
