duties

The duties and responsibilities of a Mining Engineer include, but are not limited to, the below listed items:

  • Plan and perform field surveys, analyze geological data, calculate mineral reserves, and prepare geological reports.
  • Conduct surveys and sampling, collect samples, and coordinate with the laboratory for analysis.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual, and final reports for ongoing exploration and prospecting projects.
  • Develop monthly and annual work plans in alignment with project goals and overall work plans.
  • Carry out preliminary assessment of mineralized areas, manage exploration projects, and perform other project-related tasks within the specialization.
  • Actively contribute to the implementation of exploration and prospecting programs for relevant mineral deposits.


qualification

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Geology or Mineral Exploration; higher academic degrees are preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience for bachelor’s degree holders and 1 year for master’s degree holders.
  • Proficiency in one of the official languages of Afghanistan and familiarity (writing and speaking) with the Turkish language.
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in software relevant to geological and exploration tasks.
  • Preference will be given to a qualified candidate who has experience in the extraction of construction and decorative materials (especially marble).

Qualification Requirement

  • At least Bachelor's degree in Geology or Mineral Exploration. The applicants with master's degrees will be preferred.
