Engineering Manager of the Amu Darya Oil Project

duties

  • Prepare technical, operational, and road construction plans and design for the project.
  • Develop and implement engineering strategies to improve extraction, production, and project infrastructure.
  • Identify and manage project technical risks.
  • Supervise construction works, infrastructure, surface, and subsurface facilities of the project.
  • Approve reports, forms, and technical documents at various stages of the project.
  • Participate in technical meetings, provide engineering advice, and submit standard reports.
  • Monitor the implementation of technical and construction contracts.
  • Supervise, control, and provide technical support to field teams at operational sites (Well Sites, CPF, Pipelines, Roads, etc.).
  • Review project progress and analyze technical issues.
  • Provide engineering solutions to prevent delays and cost overruns.
  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, monthly, and annual reports to the Technical Deputy of the project and the Ministry.
  • Provide technical analyses to support leadership decision-making.
  • Oversee construction, installation and laying methods for pipeline.
  • Document all activities and maintain the project’s technical archive.
  • Perform other duties as required to achieve departmental objectives.

qualification

  • Full expertise in oil engineering, drilling, construction, and related infrastructure.
  • Ability to lead technical teams and make decisions under critical conditions.
  • Familiarity with technical software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, EPANET, MS Project, etc.).

Employment Requirements (according to NTA guidelines):

Field of Study:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; a Master’s degree in relevant fields is preferred.
  • Work Experience: 5 years for Master’s degree holders, 7 years for Bachelor’s degree holders in large-scale oil, gas, or construction projects.
  • Ability to travel and work in operational areas.
