1. Leading the preparation of proposals and overall sales, business development & marketing strategies, its presentation and implementation.
2. Growing existing client base through extensive prospecting and strategic sales efforts.
3. Understanding the value drivers of the business and identifying profitable commercial opportunities to grow revenue and new customer acquisition.
4. Developing and maintaining an excellent understanding of the key customers/target audience to ensure that their needs are being met and that their business is retained.
5. Heading and working closely with the teams- Business development, Sales & Marketing to manage & retain key customers (existing and new).
6. Developing a professional inbound/outbound lead generation strategy that focus on sourcing and qualifying new business opportunities (i.e. visits, inbound calls, chats, website visitors, webinar attendees, WhatsApp groups, social media etc)
7. Undertaking market research, surveys and analysis; producing business plans/recommendations to ensure that business development opportunities (new building complexes, houses, residential shahraks, lands etc) are optimized.
8. Seeking new customers and sales initiatives to build up the company’s client base as well as market share.
9. Effectively managing large scale and complex contracts negotiations as well as close new business deals with target market and other potential customers.
10. Meeting the set sales targets within the given deadlines.
11. Arranging periodically business entertainment gatherings/parties to strengthen and enlarging the mutual beneficial relationships with property sellers and buyers.
12. Representing the company in various conferences, gatherings, tradeshows and networking events.
13. Providing trainings and guidance to the sales, business development and marketing teams as well as local property dealers whom are doing business with the company for improving their performance.
14. Arranging biweekly meetings with the team for discussing sales activities, developing strategies and taking necessary actions that can improve company’s performance.
15. Co-supervising the Finance as well as Admin teams.
16. Representing and back-up the Managing Director during his absence.
17. Establish performance goal for each employee in teams, and coach the team members to perform as or above the expectation.
18. Continuously motivating the teams and inspire them to stay focused on company’s goals.
19. Identifying, prioritizing and pursuing new and existing business opportunities with target groups in the market.
20. Developing monthly, quarterly and annual plans and targets; looking after that the set targets are achieved by the teams.
21. Creating and implementing regular reporting mechanisms to demonstrate progress toward goals, revise strategies to achieve goals.
22. Preparing and providing business review & presentations to the senior management on a monthly basis or as/when required.
23. Maintaining good rapport with local community, unions and companies.
Other job-related tasks as assigned by the Management.
· University degree in Business Administration or Marketing. Master degree will be preferred.
· At least 5 years experience in sales or business development field where 3 years at managerial level. Past managerial experience in property/construction business will be an advantage.
· Proven ability to chase down leads and to close potential sales deals.
· Needs to be a professional leader, a problem-solver and being goal-oriented.
· Highly organized and details-oriented, flexible and collaborative with an ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
· Superior presentation and public speaking skills as well as the ability to create compelling visual sales proposals.
· Business minded, entrepreneurial, aggressive, and sales focused.
· Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
· Being flexible with domestic travels and working hours for official purposes.
· Outstanding analytical skills with the ability to collect, compile and analyse data.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Afghan local languages as well as English; good computer literacy.
