The COO will oversee operations in the following domains and ensure deep understanding and effective management of:
- Branch Operations & Expansion – Overseeing branch network development across the country.
- Corporate, Individual & Merchant Accounts Management – Efficient account operations for all client types.
- Agent Banking & Cash Distribution/Collections – Managing agent network, cash handling, and project-related collections.
- Digital Services – Wallet-to-wallet transfers, AfPay card, POS machines, mobile wallet, E-money, and ecosystem integration.
- Payments & Billing – Top-up services, electricity bill processing through wallet, and payroll processing.
- Transaction Operations & Settlement – Ensuring smooth, timely, and accurate transaction management.
- Fraud Prevention & Dispute Management – Implementing robust controls to mitigate risks.
- Core Banking System Management – Overseeing system operations, upgrades, and security.
- Project & Donor Management – Coordinating with national and international donors and managing special projects.
- Provincial Operations – Monitoring and supporting field operations during travels to provinces.
- Regulatory Compliance – Central Bank reporting and adherence to financial regulations.
Microfinance Knowledge – Understanding and supporting microfinance operations and strategies.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration / Master business Administration or related field.
- Experience: 13 years' experience in Banking, EMI or Related fields.
