- Oversee all operational activities including branch, field, and back-office functions.
- Ensure smooth implementation of Shariah-compliant financial products and services.
- Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Support the CEO in developing operational strategies aligned with the institution’s mission.
- Monitor progress against operational targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiency.
- Lead, mentor, and manage operational teams to achieve institutional goals.
- Promote a culture of accountability, professionalism, and ethical conduct.
- Ensure staff training and capacity building on operational and Shariah compliance matters.
- Monitor operational risks and ensure mitigation measures are implemented.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and Shariah principles.
- Coordinate with Internal Audit and Risk teams to address operational findings.
- Ensure high-quality service delivery to clients.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and resolve operational issues promptly.
- Support outreach and expansion strategies to serve low-income and underserved communities.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Management, or related field.
- Experience: 7+ years in operations management, preferably in microfinance or Islamic finance.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Strong leadership, strategic planning, and decision-making skills.
- Knowledge of Islamic finance principles and microfinance operations.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team management abilities.
- High integrity, ethical standards, and professionalism.
